National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) is one of the most prestigious examinations in India. In this examination lakhs of students appear in the exam to take admission in MBBS and BDS degree in various colleges.

Students have to start preparation as early as possible to crack NEET. Because the syllabus is too lengthy and competition is very high.

This examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) since 2019 for MBBS/BDS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & Other Colleges/Institutes in India.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization for conducting the efficient, transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.

Generally, the NEET (UG) exam has conducted in the month of May every year. But, this year due to the pandemic issue of COVID - 19, exams were postponed. Now NEET (UG) - 2020 has been rescheduled from 26th July 2020 (Sunday) to 13th September 2020 (Sunday). As per the below official notification.

NEET 2020 Eligibility and Qualifications

a)   He/she has completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Courses.

The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as of the date of examination with a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwD Candidates.

Accordingly, the eligibility conditions regarding age limit have been revised as under:

For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD Category

The medium of the Question Papers

Display of OMR sheets and responses on the website

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will display the scanned images of OMR Answer Sheets and recorded responses by the Machine of all the candidates on the website ntaneet.nic.in. The exact date of display of the images of OMR Answer sheets and responses would be communicated after the examination on the NTA website.

Candidates will be given an opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a processing fee of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged.

NEET 2020 Result

·      The National Testing Agency will evaluate the Answer Sheets using standard procedure and the result will be displayed on the website ntaneet.nic.in and thereafter candidates may download their respective Result Sheets.

·    The NTA will prepare the merit list as per the directives of DGHS and the Ministry of AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee.
