About NSEJS 2020

National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) 2020-21 is a part of the International Junior Science Olympiad. NSEJS examination is conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teacher (IAPT).

The main objective of this examination is to identify the students who have high aptitude in science. Students who are appearing in class 10

This examination is considered as the toughest examination at a high secondary level for science. Approx 90,000 candidates participate and 1,500 centers for the exam. There are a total of 4 stages to reach the IJSO examination and NSEJS is one of them. The below table will help to understand stage levels.

Eligible Criteria for NSEJS 2020

  • Candidates must be eligible to hold an Indian passport.
  • Candidate’s date of birth should be between 1st January 2006 and 31st December 2007 both days inclusive.
  • Candidate must be residing and studying in India since 30th November 2018 or earlier.
  • Candidate must not have completed class 10th board or equivalent earlier then November 2020.
  • Candidate must not be appearing for any NSEA, NSEB, NSEC, or NSEP 2020 examination.

Exam pattern for NSEJS 2020

Total 60 number multiple-choice questions with one alternative correct.

+3 marks credit for the correct choice and -1 mark penalty for incorrect choice.

B

10 multiple choice questions with one or more than one correct alternatives.

To get credit, all the correct option(s) and no incorrect option(s) should be marked.

NSEJS exam cut-off

The cut-off for National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) will be declared by the IAPT organization on its official website. The minimum marks required in NSEJS level 1 as per the IAPT released criteria. Only those candidates will be eligible for next level those who will clear the 1

NSEJS 2020-2021 Result

National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) exam result will be published by the Indian Association of Physics Teacher (IAPT). The result generally released after the 1 month of examination. The result has been published by IAPT on its official website.
